Children Shot at in School

Yorkshire Police are investigating an incident outside a South Yorkshire school in which children aged seven to 11 were fired at with plastic pellets.  A group of youths, thought to be between 12 and 15, fired BB guns outside Maltby Manor Junior School near Rotherham on Thursday lunchtime. Some of the children were hit in the face by the pellets but police said they were not injured.

The youths involved are all described as white males, aged 12 to 15 years and all wearing tracksuit type clothing, tops with hoods up. One is described as having grey bottoms on with a grey hoody top and another wearing dark bottoms and a top with some white colour on it. The pellets were assorted orange, red and some metal ones.
